Can I claim for nebulisers via Extras cover?
Eligibility
To claim for a nebuliser, you need to be on Top Extras with any applicable waiting period served.
Products
You may be able to claim towards nebulisers that are:
- Purchased from a registered Australian business with a physical presence in Australia.
You can’t claim towards:
- Hiring a nebuliser
- Nebuliser accessories.
Claiming
When submitting your claim, please include:
- Completed Aids and Appliances form signed by your doctor (this will be valid for 12 months, after which you'll need to submit another form to claim this benefit)
- Itemised tax invoice that shows the name of the patient (i.e. the person who’ll be using the product).
Limits
Like most services under the Artificial Aids & Appliances benefit, Nebuliser has an annual sub-limit).
