Teachers Health works across all sectors of the education community, developing strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholder groups. This includes the offices of the Australian Education Union, the Independent Education Union and the National Tertiary Education Union as well as the Department of Education and key Principal Associations including the Australian Primary Principal Association.
Teachers Health sponsors various education conferences, events and initiatives with the primary goal of supporting the ongoing success and wellbeing of principals, teachers and support staff in the education community by providing balanced support across three key focus areas:
- Reward and recognition
- Professional development
- Health and wellbeing programs
We love supporting teachers who go the extra mile to educate and inspire their students. That’s why, in partnership with the Public Education Foundation, we created the Teachers Health Early Career Scholarship, which provides public school teachers in the first three years of their teaching career with up to $10,000 to put towards professional development.
Awarded annually, the scholarship is just one of the ways we give back to the education community, and is a tangible way to support a diverse range of young teachers with a shared passion. That is, to develop their knowledge and skills in a way that benefits the students they’re so dedicated to.
