Teachers Health has a documented policy and procedure in place to manage complaints. A copy of the Teachers Health Customer Complaints Handling and Dispute Resolution Policy is available online. In most cases, we aim to resolve complaints at the time of contact. In the event that we are not able to resolve your complaint straight away, it will be managed and escalated in accordance with our policy. All complaints will be treated confidentially and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Complainants also have the right to take their issue to the Private Health Insurance Ombudsman. If you are not satisfied with the response provided by Teachers Health, you have the right to lodge your issue with the Private Health Insurance Ombudsman. The PHIO can be contacted on 1300 362 072 or via their website at: ombudsman.gov.au.
