Can I claim for hearing aid chargers and repairs via Extras cover?
Eligibility
To claim for hearing aid chargers and repairs you need to be on Top Extras with any applicable waiting period served.
Products
Alongside repairs, you may be able claim towards chargers that are:
- Purchased from a registered Australian business with a physical presence in Australia.
Claiming
When submitting your claim, please include:
- Completed Aids and Appliances form signed by your doctor.
- Itemised tax invoice that shows the name of the patient (i.e. the person using the hearing aids).
Limits
Like most services under the Artificial Aids & Appliances benefit, Hearing aids chargers and repairs has an annual sub-limit.
