How long do Extras claims take?
Extras claims usually take around 5 business days to process. It can be a bit longer at peak times like school holidays, which can stretch processing to up to 14 business days.
Why some claims take longer than others
Because we're governed by strict rules, we sometimes need to ask for more information to complete your claim, which may lengthen the process.
Complex claims, or claims unable to go through Online Member Services or the Teachers Health app must be reviewed manually by our claims team.
