How can I upgrade my cover?

Before making any changes, please consider:

  • Your options – which Hospital and Extras cover is right for you?
  • The cost – you can get a quote via Online Member Services
  • Waiting periods – when can you start claiming your new, or increased, Hospital and/or Extras benefits?


Ready to upgrade?

You can upgrade online anytime. Here’s how:

  • Log in
  • Go to My membership
  • Click Cover details
  • Click Edit
  • Select Effective date
  • Select Hospital product tier
  • Select Hospital cover
  • Select Extras cover
  • Click Next
  • Tick the Declaration
  • Click Submit


Your next payment

Please note that upgrading may impact your ‘paid-to date’ (i.e. if your premium is increasing, your next payment may be due sooner).

To check your paid-to date:

  • Log in
  • Go to Payments
  • Click on Contribution details
  • See Paid-to date
