Can I claim for outpatient services?
Australian health funds can’t cover outpatient hospital services, or things like admin costs, because government legislation prevents us from doing so.
This can be a big source of confusion, and frustration, for many people who (not unfairly) assume their Hospital cover will take care of all the bills.
