Our history

The Teachers Health Foundation (the Foundation) was established in 2014 as a private charitable trust by Teachers Federation Health Ltd. The trust is managed by the Board of Directors of Teachers Federation Health Foundation Pty Limited, the corporate trustee of the Foundation.

Over the past 10 years, the Foundation has funded medical research within Australia relating to health conditions affecting the education community. Since 2024, the purpose of the Foundation was expanded, welcoming research applications relating to the health and wellbeing of the nursing and midwifery community as well as the education community.
