How can I add a dependant (aged 21+) to my membership?
- Studying full-time
They can be on your membership as a student dependant until they turn 32, as long as they:
- Are a full-time student, trainee, apprentice, intern or cadet
- Aren’t married or in a de-facto relationship.
What will it cost?
This depends on your current membership:
- Family, Single Parent or Couple – adding a student dependant won’t increase your premium
- Single – your premium will increase when your membership changes to Single Parent. Check your new premium
- Not studying
They can be on your membership via Extended Family Cover until they turn 32, provided they:
- Aren’t married or in a de-facto relationship.
What will it cost?
This depends on your current membership:
- Extended Family Cover – adding another dependant won’t increase your premium.
- Any other type of membership – your premium will increase when you move onto Extended Family Cover. Check your new premium
