Paying for your health insurance ahead of a premium increase can be a great way to save in the long term!

Here's your prepay info ahead of the premium increase effective from 1 April 2024:

You can prepay your cover for up to 12 months via a one-off manual payment. Also, the maximum amount you can pay is 12 months from the payment date. It's up to you how much of the 12-month maximum you lock in before the next premium increase.

Here are the steps:

Use the Online Member Services premium calculator to check how much to pay up to a given date, or how far a given dollar amount will take you.

Here's how:

• Log in
• Go to Payments
• Click Premium calculator
• Either Calculate amount or Calculate date
• Click Calculate.

You can pay by credit card (via Online Member Services), BPAY, our app and at our Member Care Counters. Here's how:

Online Member Services

• Log in
• Go to Payments

Credit card

• • Select Pay by credit card
  • Enter Payment amount
  • Select Card type
  • Enter Card number
  • Enter Card name
  • Enter Card security code
  • Enter Card expiry date (by selecting the month and the year)
  • Accept Credit card declaration
  • Click Submit.

BPAY

• Please refer to the BPAY details included in the email or letter (depending on your contact preferences) we sent in early March 2024.

App

• Log in
• Tap the menu on top left
• Tap Make a payment
• Choose to either Enter amount or select new paid-to date
  

  Enter amount:

  • Enter Payment amount
  • Your new paid-to date will automatically calculate
  • Either scan your credit/debit card or enter Cardholder name, Credit/debit card number, Expiry date and CVV
  • Check all details are correct
  • Click Pay now.
  
  

  Select new paid-to date:

  • Enter Select new paid-to date
  • Your payment amount will automatically calculate
  • Either scan your credit/debit card or enter Cardholder name, Credit/debit card number, Expiry date and CVV
  • Check all details are correct
  • Click Pay now.

Member Care Counters

• Payments can also be made at our Surry Hills or Parramatta Health Centres up to 4.45pm on 25 March 2024.

It depends on how you usually pay your premium – here are the key dates:

Direct debit

You'll need to make your one-off payment at least a week before your next scheduled direct debit.

If your next scheduled direct debit is on or after 30 March we need to receive your one-off payment by 25 March (8pm AEDT). How to make a payment

Once your payment has gone through, future direct debits will be paused until you reach your new paid-to date.

Credit card or BPAY

If you pay by either of these methods, please make your payment:

• • BPAY: 26 March by 6pm AEDT
  • Credit card:
    • Pay by phone by 27 March by 9pm AEDT
    • Pay online by 31 March by 9pm AEDT

Around three business days after prepaying, you can check your paid-to date via Online Member Services:

• Click Cover details
• See Paid to Date.
