The easy way to manage your membership
Online Member Services is a secure online member portal, where you can:
- check your cover info
- update your contact and account details
- make basic changes to your membership
- and more!
How do I register for Online Member Services?
Follow these three steps:
- Go to Online Member Services, select Register, enter your membership details, create a password, and click submit.
- An activation code will then be sent to the mobile number* we have on file (it can take up to 5 mins to get your code).
- Use your membership number, newly-created password and the activation code to log in.
Please note that if there are other people on your cover, you’ll have a shared login (one per membership).
*If you didn’t give us your mobile number when you joined Teachers Health, contact us so we can add it for you.
I’ve forgotten my password – what should I do?
- go to Online Member Services
- click on ‘Forgot your password?’
- enter your details
- we’ll email you a reset link.
Please hold off resubmitting the request if your email doesn’t arrive immediately – it can take a few minutes and new requests invalidate previous ones.
How can I change my password?
Here’s what to do:
- log in to Online Member Services
- go to Security
- click on ‘Change password’ and follow the prompts.
How do I add or update my direct debit details?
To set up or change your direct debit (the bank account we use to take your contributions from) details, follow these steps:
- log in to Online Member Services
- go to Payments > Payment Details - Premiums
- select ‘Edit’
- tick the ‘Pay your premium by direct debit?’ box
- enter your account details and click ‘Next’
- read and accept the agreement and click ‘Submit’.
How do I update my direct credit details?
To set up or change your direct credit (the bank account we make payments into for claims) details, follow these steps:
- log in to Online Member Services
- go to Payments
- select ‘Payment Details - Claims’
- enter your account details and click ‘Next’
- read and accept the agreement and click ‘Submit’.
I’m locked out of Online Member Services – what should I do?
Accounts are automatically locked after four unsuccessful login attempts. Please contact us to unlock your account.
How do I change my contact preference to email or SMS?
First-up thanks for going green!
Here’s what to do:
- log in to Online Member Services
- go to My membership > Contact details
- select ‘Edit’
- scroll down to ‘Contact preferences’
From the drop-down menu select:
- Via Member Services (with email notification) or
Via Member Services (with SMS notification) - select ‘Next’ to confirm the change
- tick the declaration and select ‘Submit’.
