Teachers Healthcare Services awarded for quality patient care
Looking for high-quality care? You’ve come to the right place with Teachers Healthcare Services recognised by Australia’s leading independent authority on healthcare.
The Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) is an independent, not-for-profit organisation focused on improving the quality of healthcare in Australia. Its standards are recognised within Australia and internationally as the benchmark for excellence in patient care.
Teachers Healthcare Services has been awarded the ACHS citation through the EQuIP6 program – a consumer-focused program which measures how effective a healthcare organisation is in terms of patient care. Certification is the benchmark for healthcare providers to continuously improve the quality of care they deliver – ACHS accreditation tells consumers and other stakeholders that an organisation has achieved excellence through:
- a rigorous process of external peer review to meet world class standards for patient care
- performance outcomes that provide data for benchmarking throughout the healthcare system
- striving to improve outcomes of care and respect for the individual.
The accreditation demonstrates Teachers Healthcare Services’ ongoing commitment to excellence in healthcare, with a strong and continuous focus on safety, quality and performance.
Congratulations to the team for their hard work and commitment!
